The FIS Academy is the educational division of the International Ski Federation (FIS) and was established by The World Academy of Sport and IF Education. The FIS Academy's aim is to deliver 'Best Practice' academic programmes, in order to ensure that FIS athletes, administrators and event organisors from across the globe have access to the highest quality education.
The learning options offered by the FIS Academy offers a number of levels of education from athlete education through to enhancing the skills and knowledge of the FIS family.
The primary focus of the FIS Academy is to provide flexible learning solutions. Many of it's learning products have been established in a distance learning format to take into account the unique travel and lifestyle requirements that are part of an intensive sports schedule for athletes, administrators and event organisers.
Education Offering
The education programmes offered by the FIS Academy range from a Athlete Certificate, for young developing competitors, through to a specialist MBA, for executives and event organisers, as described below:
