Athlete Certificate                                                                                                             

The FIS Academy Athlete Certificate provides an opportunity for athletes to learn about the role and activities of the International Ski Federation (FIS), including essential competition rules and competition requirements. It also covers activities specifically designed to support and enhance athlete lifestyle skills and management.

The course contains a series of eight modules;

• International Competition / Competition Requirements
• Health, Nutrition and Wellbeing
• Doping and Drugs in sport
• The Competitive approach
• Environment
• Personal Management
• Olympism
• Life after competition

It now includes an exclusive access to the FIS Academy online platform as well as a unique global insurance solution for skiing athletes. The insurance is provided by Aon and covers;

• Personal Accident (for every member)
• Personal Liability (for every national member)
• Travel and Competition (for athletes competing internationally)

The course is available in CD-Rom format through National Federations and athletes undertake fifteen to twenty hours of learning. All National Federations and athletes requiring further information are welcome to contactd the FIS Academy at athlete@fis-academy.org.
